GIVEAWAY & COMPETITION TERMS

These Giveaway & Competition Terms set out the general terms applicable to competitions, prize draws, giveaways, promotional campaigns and other similar activities organised by WORKEARLY from time to time through its Website, social media accounts or other communication channels.

These Terms form an integral part of WORKEARLY’s overall Terms and Conditions and apply in addition to WORKEARLY’s Website Terms of Use, which apply generally and supplement these Terms.

Each competition, giveaway or promotional activity may also be subject to specific terms and conditions published or otherwise made available in connection with that particular activity (the “Special Terms”). Participants should read the applicable Special Terms before participating.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms, the Website Terms of Use and the Special Terms, the Special Terms shall prevail solely in relation to the matters specifically regulated by them. Any matter not specifically addressed in the Special Terms will remain subject to these Terms and, where applicable, the Website Terms of Use and any other applicable WORKEARLY terms and policies.

COMPETITIONS, GIVEAWAYS & PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

WORKEARLY may from time to time organise competitions, prize draws, giveaways, promotional campaigns or other similar activities through its Website, social media accounts or other communication channels.

Participation in any such activity is subject to these Terms and the Special Terms applicable to the relevant competition, giveaway or promotional activity.

SPECIAL TERMS OF PARTICIPATION

The eligibility requirements, duration, participation process, method of selecting winners, prizes, participation restrictions and any other conditions specific to a competition, giveaway or promotional activity will be set out in the applicable Special Terms.

Participants are responsible for reviewing and complying with the Special Terms applicable to the relevant activity.

ACCOUNT CREATION

For certain competitions, giveaways or promotional activities, participation may be connected with free access to a Course or another WORKEARLY service. In such cases, creation of an Account on the WORKEARLY Educational Platform may be required as a condition of participation or in order to access the relevant benefit.

Where this is expressly stated as part of the relevant activity, the Participant authorises WORKEARLY to arrange for the creation of an Account using the information submitted by the Participant in connection with their participation. Submission of the relevant participation or registration form will constitute a request for the creation of that Account for the purposes of the relevant activity.

A Participant may request deletion of their Account by contacting support@workearly.com. Where the Account is deleted before completion of the relevant competition, giveaway or promotional activity and the Account is necessary for participation, WORKEARLY may treat the Participant as having withdrawn from that activity and exclude them from the relevant selection, draw, assessment or award process.

Where participation includes free access to a Course or another WORKEARLY service, such access may be withdrawn or terminated following deletion of the Account where the Account is required to access the relevant Course or service.

Withdrawal from an activity or deletion of an Account does not, by itself, give rise to any right to compensation or other claim against WORKEARLY in connection with participation in that activity.

PRIZES & BENEFITS

Prizes, benefits, free Course participation, scholarships, educational services or other awards offered as part of a competition, giveaway or promotional activity may not be exchanged for cash, unless expressly provided otherwise in the applicable Special Terms.

Where necessary for operational or organisational reasons, WORKEARLY may replace a prize or benefit with an equivalent or reasonably comparable alternative, subject to the applicable Special Terms.

Any additional conditions relating to the award, delivery, use, validity or acceptance of a prize or benefit will be set out in the applicable Special Terms.

MODIFICATION, CANCELLATION & DISQUALIFICATION

WORKEARLY may modify, suspend, postpone or cancel a competition, giveaway or promotional activity where reasonably necessary due to circumstances affecting its proper, fair or lawful operation, including technical issues, security concerns, suspected abuse or circumvention of the applicable terms, or other reasonable grounds.

WORKEARLY may exclude or disqualify any Participant who breaches these Terms or the applicable Special Terms, or who acts in a manner that may compromise the integrity, security, fairness or proper operation of the relevant competition, giveaway or promotional activity.

Where appropriate, WORKEARLY will provide information regarding any material modification, suspension or cancellation through the channel used for the relevant activity or by another reasonable means.

Any modification, suspension, cancellation or disqualification will be subject to applicable law and the Special Terms of the relevant activity.
